Questions will be accepted until Monday, April 22, 2024, at 3PM Description of Work: The Lee's Summit School District is issuing the Lee's Summit High School East Parking Lot - Phase 1 project for bid. Contractor will be responsible for the selective demolition and reconstruction of the parking lot as documented in the Plans. Phase 1 is to be substantially complete prior to the 2024-2025 school year to accommodate the realignment of SE Blue Parkway by others. Time of Completion: The project shall be substantially complete by August 1, 2024, based on a mobilization construction start of May 28, 2024. Bld Security: Bid Security must accompany each bid as follows: A Bid Bond, Certified Check or Cashier's Check for Bid Security made payable to the Owner in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the Bid amount, must be submitted with the Bid, pledging that the Bidder will enter into a Contract with the Owner on the terms stated in the Bid and will, if required, furnish bonds covering the faithful performance of the Contract and payment of all obligations arising thereunder. Should the Bidder refuse to enter into such Contract, fail to furnish such bonds, if required, or be unable to comply with the terms of the Contract and/or General Conditions, the amount of the bid security shall be forfeited to the Owner as a payment toward damages.
