Site work for a transportation facility in Lake Wales, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a transportation facility.
The City of Lake Wales is seeking a qualified contractor to construct the Airfield Security Fencing and Access Project at Lake Wales Municipal Airport Responding to the Invitation to Bid. All questions must be placed in writing to Cynthia Monk cmonk@lakewalesfl.gov. Questions deadline will be on Monday, April 29, 2024 at 4:00 pm. Responses may be hand delivered, mailed, or delivered via courier service to the following address: City of Lake Wales Purchasing Department 201 West Central Avenue Lake Wales, FL 33853. The Lake Wales Airfield Security Fencing and Access project includes but not limited to the following items: o Enclose the eastern portion of the airport property with 1,205 LF of 6', FDOT Type B fence with three strand barbed wire. o An existing swing gate will be upgraded to an electronic roll gate with proximity card readers to control individual access to the airfield.
