Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Lake Wales, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a transportation facility; and for paving for a transportation facility.
As of October 2, 2025, the project is under construction. A general contractor has been selected. Construction began in April of 2025. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The intent of the contract is to provide for construction and completion, in every detail, of the work described. It is further intended that the Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, and supplies required to complete the work in accordance with the plans, specifications, and terms of the contract. The total DBE goal, established for this PROJECT is 1.80% Goals for minority participation for each trade: 1.8% Goals for female participation in each trade: 6.9% The City of Lake Wales is seeking a qualified contractor to construct the T-Hangar Taxilane Reconstruction and Taxilane Bravo Rehabilitation Project at Lake Wales Municipal Airport Responding to the Invitation to Bid. All questions must be placed in writing as outlined in the bid documents. Questions deadline will be on Monday, April 29, 2024, at 4:00 pm.
