Electrical and SCADA Improvements 3. Chlorination System 4. 40,000 Gallon Ground Storage Tank System Description A. The Tank will consist of a circular Galvanized Steel Bolted Water Tank with a concrete foundation and floor. Appurtenances shall include an interior ladder, exterior ladder, roof hatches, roof vent, roof railing, mounts for level monitoring, mounts for electrical and control conduit, inlet piping, outlet piping, and overflow piping and structure. B. Design Requirements: The Tank shall be designed in accordance with the requirements of AWWA D103-19 Factory-Coated Bolted Steel Tanks for Water Storage. The manufacturer shall be responsible for the design of all aspects of the tank and appurtenance including the foundation, floor and cathodic protection system. C. The tank coating system shall conform solely to Section 10.4 of ANSI/AWWA D103 latest revision. D. The Contractor shall use the following requirements in the design calculations: Storage Capacity - 40,000 gallons Diameter 18.5ft. X 24ft. liquid depth Total Roof Live Load - According to International Build Code Wind Velocity 150 MPH
