Key scope elements include: New lane configurations - Construction of two additional travel lanes on Whoop-Up Drive to increase capacity and reduce congestion approaching and leaving the river crossing. Off-ramp improvements - Addition of a new lane on the Whoop-Up Drive off-ramp to improve merging operations and reduce bottlenecks at the interchange. Traffic signal upgrades - Modernization of signal infrastructure to improve safety, efficiency, and coordination with adjacent intersections. Street lighting enhancements - Installation of new lighting to improve visibility, safety, and corridor aesthetics. New regional pathway - Development of an active-transportation connection that supports pedestrian and cyclist mobility and integrates with the broader pathway network. Signage and message board installation - Addition of a new message board and updated signage to support real-time traveler information and improved wayfinding.
