Project consists of a single channel headworks facility with screening, grit removal, and associated appurtenances. Estimate: $1,439,800 Construction bonds (Performance, Statutory, and Maintenance) in the amount of 100 percent with a corporate surety approved by the Owner will be required for the faithful performance of the contract. Attorneys-in-fact who sign bid and construction bonds must file with each bond a certified and effective dated copy of their Power-of-Attorney. A Bid must be accompanied by Bid security made payable to Owner in an amount of 5% percent of Bidder's maximum Bid price (determined by adding the base bid and all alternates) and in the form of a Bid bond issued by a surety meeting the requirements of Paragraph 6.01 of the General Conditions. Such Bid bond will be issued in the form included in the Bidding Documents. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive any irregularities or technicalities without assigning reason therefore, and to make the award in the best interest of the owner.
