Demolition and site work for a detention facility in Martinsville, Virginia. Completed plans call for the demolition of a detention facility; and for site work for a detention facility.

Henry County Jail Demolition. In accordance with the Code of Virginia, Section 2.2-4343.1, the Owner does not discriminate against faithbased organizations or on any other basis prohibited by state or federal law. The Owner does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, age, disability, or religion. The Owner encourages participation and bid submission from any Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE) and/or Minority or Women Business Enterprise (MBE or WBE) capable and otherwise qualified to perform work defined by this construction contract. Each Bid shall be accompanied by bid security as described in the "Instructions to Bidders." The successful BIDDER will be required to furnish performance and payment bonds as described in Section 007200 "General Conditions. The work includes the furnishing of the labor, materials, and equipment for the following: Demolition and offsite disposal of the entire building both below grade and above grade, back fill and compaction to grade including all site work as shown in the contract documents. The Owner reserves the right to reject any Bid if the evidence submitted by, or investigation of, such BIDDER fails to satisfy the Owner that such BIDDER is properly qualified to carry out the obligations of the Contract and to complete the Work contemplated therein. Owner reserves the full and unconditional right to waive irregularities and to reject any or all Bids.
