As of April 26, 2024, this project has not yet been awarded. The project is expected to be awarded on June 1, 2024. The addition of sidewalk on the south side of state Route (sr) 4 from the intersection with nilles road To the southeast approximately 1,650 feet to the Easternmost drive of 5251 dixie highway. Proposed Work also involves some minor storm work and Grading modifications. This work shall consist of full depth removal of existing pavement, existing asphalt concrete and Portland cement concrete repairs; correction of sub-base and sub-grade; and replacement with Portland cement concrete. Each bid must be accompanied by the following completed documents: Bid Bond (Certified Check or Cashiers Check for ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid submitted unless otherwise specified) Bid prices must be firm for a period of ninety (90) days following the bid opening date. The City of Fairfield reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to correct or waive irregularities in the bids should it be deemed in the best interest of the City to do so. Each bid must be enclosed in a sealed envelope, clearly marked 2024 CDBG SIDEWALK PROJECT on the face of the envelope and display the name and address of the bidder.
