Site work for a bridge / tunnel in Quarryville, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
The Bids must cover all costs for the completion of this project as set forth in the Project Manual. The principal items of work to be performed under the contract are: 1) demolition of existing culvert structure; 2) removal of cartway pavement; 3) miscellaneous site demolition; 4) installation of new precast box structure, wing walls, and appurtenances; 5) installation of new curb and sidewalk 6) installation of guiderail; 7) installation of handrail; 8) installation of new cartway pavement; 9) property restoration; and 10) other incidental work. Bid security in an amount not less than 10% of the amount of the bid will be required in the form of certified check, cashiers check, bank treasurers check, or satisfactory bid bond made payable to or naming as obligee Quarryville Borough, Lancaster County. A Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each in an amount equal to 100% of the contract and each with satisfactory corporate surety, will be required to be furnished by the successful bidder at the time stated in the specifications. Questions Due Date: May 1st 2024, 5:00 PM EDT Quarryville Borough hereby reserves the right to waive any defects, errors, omissions, or informalities, in bids received, to reject any and/or all bids submitted and to accept any bid which it may deem to be in the best interests of the Borough.
