Approximate quantities of major items of work are as follows: Clearing and Grubbing: 59 EA Remove Manhole/Catch Basin: 24 EA Remove Bituminous Pavement: 14,200 SY Remove Driveway Pavement: 1,000 SY Remove Curb & Gutter: 5,800 LF Remove Sewer/Water/Storm Pipe: 2,500 LF Common Excavation: 5,100 CY Aggregate Base Class 5: 2,600 TON Subgrade Preparation: 13,500 SY Bituminous Pavement: 4,000 TON 4" Perforated PVC Pipe Drain: 2,200 LF Drainage Structure (48"-72"): 41 EA RC Pipe Sewer (12"-24"): 3,000 LF Sanitary Sewer Manhole: 2 EA 8" PVC Sewer: 450 LF 8" DIP Watermain: 900 LF Temporary Water Service: 1 LS Temporary Sewer Bypass: 1 LS Concrete Walk: 9,700 SF Concrete Curb and Gutter: 6,500 LF Concrete Driveway: 1,100 SY Sodding Type Lawn: 3,250 SY Boulevard Topsoil Borrow: 250 CY Sediment Control Log: 5,000 LF Bids must be on the basis of cash payment for the work and materials, and no bid will be considered unless sealed and filed with the City Clerk and accompanied by a bidder's bond, payable to the City. The bid bonds must be payable to the City of Farmington in the amount of five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid, to be forfeited as liquidated damages in the event that the bid is accepted and the bidder fails to promptly enter into a written contract and furnish the required bonds. The City of Farmington reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any informality therein, and to adjourn the meeting to a later date for the purpose of further consideration of the bids and taking action thereon. No bid may be withdrawn within 90 days after the date of opening of bids.
