The bid bonds must be payable to the City of Farmington in the amount of five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid, to be forfeited as liquidated damages in the event that the bid is accepted and the bidder fails to promptly enter into a written contract and furnish the required bonds. The City of Farmington reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any informality therein, and to adjourn the meeting to a later date for the purpose of further consideration of the bids and taking action thereon.
