This specification outlines the requirements for providing snow and ice removal at various Pittsburgh Regional Transit (PRT) Park and Ride lots, complete as specified herein. Line Item Bids will be accepted for Park and Ride Lots in three areas of Allegheny County as described in Sections 3.4 (North), 3.5 (West) and 3.6 (East). Bidders may bid on one, two or all three areas. Contracts will be issued to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder for each area. The contracts for the North and West areas will begin on December 2, 2024 and will end on July 31, 2026. The contract for the East Area will begin on August 1, 2024 and will end on July 31, 2026 Contractor is responsible for expenses related to acquiring a performance bond and insurance where applicable. All items are to be FOB delivered unless otherwise specified. Costs for delivery, bond, and insurance shall be included in bidder's proposal pricing (a) Workers' Compensation - Statutory Limits (b) Employer's Liability in an amount not less than: $500,000 Each Accident $500,000 Disease - Policy Limit $500,000 Disease - Each Employee Commercial General Liability. In an amount not less than: $2,000,000 General Aggregate $2,000,000 Products - Completed Operations Aggregate $1,000,000 Each Occurrence Business Automobile Liability. With a Combined Single Limit not less than: $1,000,000 Each Accident The Board of PRT reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
