Re: Invitation for Bid New Outlook Academy GEDTF Grant: Purchase and Installation ofThermo Twin Windows City of Pittsburgh, Allegheny County Please be advised that a Request for Bids for a construction project, New Outlook Academy's GEDTF Grant: Purchase and Installation of Thermo Twin Windows, funded by the Allegheny County Economic Development will be released on Thursday, May 2nd and Thursday, May 9th, 2024 in The Pittsburgh Post Gazette. Your office has expressed a desire to receive such notifications. The project consists ofthe following trades/supplies: - Carpenters and Laborers - Thermo Twin Windows and other supplies to install windows The job consists of the purchase and installation of Thermo Twin windows under prevailing wage rates. No brand substitutions for the windows will be acceptable. Include the cost of City of Pittsburgh Building Permit in with the bid scope. Include removal/disposal of old windows and construction trash in the total bid. Window specs & quantities are listed in below chart. Windows must be installed in a professional, workmanship like manner. Any issues that arise during installation must be brought to Frank Wentzel’s wentzelf@theacademyschools.com and Johanna Spisak’s spisakj@theacademyschools.com attention prior to fixing work outside the original work scope. Work must be completed and invoiced by 2/2/25.
