The City of Chester is soliciting sealed bids from qualified Contractors for paving of a prion of the excising unpaved roads at Evergreen Cemetery located at 173 Cemetery Street, Chester, SC. The proposed project consists of approximately 900 LF of full depth paving, using cement modified base course and HMA surface course. The project also includes minor related drainage improvements as specified in the plans. Bids Will Not Be Considered unless sealed and accompanied by a bidder's bond for five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid. Bid bond will be duly executed by the bidder as principal & having as surety thereon a surety company licensed to do business in the State of South Carolina. Successful bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory performance & payment bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the bid.
