This project includes the following work on the 300,000-gallon Giiwedin Tower (built in 2001 by CB&I), 150,000-gallon New Post Tower (built by Maguire Iron in 2010), 100,000-gallon Dry Town Tower (built by CB&I in 1980s), and Reserve Standpipe (built by Natgun in 2011). Some work is affected by Add. Alternate bidding. The date of last reconditioning is unknown but a reconditioning of the interior wet and exterior areas is estimated at circa 2000. 1. Cleaning, sandblasting, and painting all interior and exterior surfaces of the Giiwedin Tower. Full containment is mandatory. 2. Cleaning, sandblasting, and painting the interior wet and the interior dry sweating area surfaces, and spot repairing and overcoating the exterior surfaces of the New Post and Dry Town Towers. 3. Miscellaneous structure modifications and surface repairs on the three towers. 4. Replacement of the finial vent on the Reserve Standpipe. The entire project out-of-service duration, including the Giiwedin Tower, Dry Town Tower, and New Post Tower, is to start on July 15, 2024 and substantial completion by October 20, 2024. Giiwedin Tower: The approximate dimensions are as follows; tank diameter of 47-feet, high-water level 121-feet, low-water level of 88-feet, and overall height of 129-feet. New Post Tower: The approximate dimensions are as follows; tank diameter of 34-feet, high-water level 151-feet, low-water level of 119-feet, and overall height of 155-feet. Dry Town Tower: The approximate dimensions are as follows; tank diameter of 32-feet, high-water level 129-feet, low-water level of 100-feet, and overall height of 133-feet.
