Renovation of an educational facility in South Holland, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
**Documents must be obtained directly from the Architect** Weight & Fitness Room Renovation for SOUTH SUBURBAN COLLEGE. Bids will be opened at that time, or shortly thereafter in the President's Conference Room. Work will be let under one prime contract, to the lowest responsible bidder South Holland, Illinois, reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and award the bid in the manner that best serves the interests of the Owner These requirements shall include, but are not limited to, payment of the prevailing wage including fringe benefits for labor on the work to be done, the provisions of all State of Illinois and federal laws concerning public works projects, the State of Illinois Human Rights Act, and the regulations of the Illinois Human Rights Commission Upon failure to do so, the bidder shall forfeit the amount deposited as liquidated damages and no mistakes or errors on the part of the bidder shall excuse the bidder or entitle him to a return of the aforementioned amount. A 10% Bid Bond will be required of all bidders. A 100% Performance Bond and a Labor/Material Bond will be required of the successful bidder, written by a Surety approved by the Owner. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond for an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid, as a guarantee that the bidder, if awarded the Contract, will furnish a satisfactory performance and payment bond, execute the Contract and proceed with the work
