Renovation of a mixed-use development in Newark, Delaware. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The New Castle Conservation District is inviting Bids for Contract No. 1767-00 Independence School Stream Restoration which includes the installation of Log Sills, Log Vanes, Root Wads, Boulder Path, and Boulder Seat Wall, along with traditional stream restoration techniques in an unnamed tributary to the Pike Creek. The new construction is located at the Independence School, New Castle County, Delaware. The District may extend the date and time for the opening of bids from that described herein with not less than five calendar days' notice, by certified mail, to those prospective bidders who obtained copies of the bidding documents. The completion time shall be 25 Working Days. The terms of the contract shall require a bid security equivalent to 10% of the total bid amount and a performance & payment bond. A 5% Retainage is required upon payment(s) to be held for six months following completion of the contract. New Castle Conservation District prohibits discrimination in its programs on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, religion, age, disability, political belief and marital or family status.
