Renovation of a municipal facility in Charlotte, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 888,546-square-foot municipal facility.
Mecklenburg County Asset and Facility Management will receive hand-delivered single prime, lump sum, sealed bids for the Judge Johnson Building Deep Energy Retrofit Project. Mecklenburg County reserves the right to waive technicalities and to reject any or all bids. This information will be made available in an alternative format for persons with disabilities by calling (561)906-3301. Prime General Contractors wishing to submit a bid must provide a MANDATORY written Letter-of-Interest to the Countys authorized Design Consultant at least 48 hours in advance of the bid opening in order to be placed on the official Bidders List for automatic distribution of potential addenda and offered consideration by the County as a responsive bidder. Bid, performance, and payment & material bonds are required. NC law and applicable regulations of various licensing boards apply. The project is located at 700 E. 4 th St. Charlotte, NC 28202. Any questions regarding these bid documents shall be e-mailed to the Authorized Design Consultant by 2:00 pm on May 28 th , 2024 : If any prospective Bidder is in doubt as to the true meaning of any part of the Contract Documents, he shall submit to the Consultant no later than seven (7) calendar days prior to the bid opening, a written request for an interpretation thereof. Any interpretation of the proposed documents will be made only by Addenda to the Contract Documents, which will be sent to all persons to whom Contract Documents have been issued. Interpretations, corrections and changes in Contract Documents made in any other manner will not be binding.
