Demolition, site work, renovation and addition to an educational facility in Toronto, Ontario. Completed plans call for site work for a educational facility; for the addition of a 67,973-square-foot, two-story above grade, 1,100-seat educational facility; for the renovation of a educational facility; and for the demolition of a educational facility.

The Toronto Catholic District School Board (the Owner) is issuing this RFSQ to identify and prequalify Contractors who are interested in participating in the procurement in the Second Stage tender for this project as follows: - An addition of 2-storey building at the north end of the existing building (approx. 67,973 sq ft). - Retrofit of the existing heritage, 5-storey building. - Partial demolition of the former garage at the existing south parking lot. - New Site Works, a new drop off and parking area Only Respondents who are prequalified through this RFSQ will be eligible to participate in Second Stage Procurements. Question Deadline 04/29/2024 at 3:00 PM ET. TIMELINE: Designs are complete. Provincial funding has been approved for this site. Prequalification for general contractors has closed (RFSQ-003-24); as of June 17, 2024, six (6) firms have prequalified. Stage II tender timeline to the prequalified firms has yet to be confirmed. Estimated construction start: November 2024. Target occupancy: September 2026.
