The City of Redding, Public Works Department, is requesting proposals from qualified firms to provide professional engineering services to implement SGMA as outlined in the EAGSA's Groundwater Sustainability Plans (GSP). GSPs for the Enterprise and Anderson Subbasins were submitted to the California Department of Water Resources (DWR) in January 2022 and approved by DWR in January 2024. Project activities include the planning, development, and construction of items identified in the GSPs and listed in the following Scope of Work. Major tasks consist of: Preparation of Annual Reports for each subbasin for water years 2024 thru 2025 and the 5-year update to the subbasins GSPs; Address DWR comments made during GSPs approval; Site and design two shallow/deep monitoring wells with stilling wells and ten shallow monitoring wells; Update EAGSA Hydrogeologic Conceptual Model (HCM). It is the intent of the City to hire a single qualified consultant, or team of consultants, for this work. In order for a consultant to be considered qualified, the firm or team must demonstrate experience in groundwater management planning, public outreach and coordination, computer hydrogeologic modeling and analysis. Interested consultants are invited to submit their qualifications in accordance with the requirements of this Request for Proposals (RFP). The City requests that all questions regarding the RFP be submitted in writing no later than 5:00 p.m. PDT on April 22, 2024. The City will review all questions submitted and prepare an addendum with appropriate responses which will be distributed to all RFP holders.
