The purpose of this solicitation is to obtain one (1) Certified Arborist/Forester to patrol and inspect REU's overhead power lines (see attachment 1). The selected Contractor will use geographic information system (GIS) Field Maps based data files to create inspection points gathered during the term of the contract for REU tree crews or future Contract crews. Contractor is to supply labor, transportation, equipment, mobilization, etc. to complete this project. REU to provide access to (GIS) Field Maps data files (GIS Feature Class files) for successful bidder to install on their own devices/equipment or REU/GIS will provide successful bidder an iPad with appropriate software installed. No tickets will be submitted by successful bidder. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive minor irregularities. The Bidder further declares they are certified and licensed in the State of California and the license held is of the class required to perform the specific work within this bid; they have a license to do business in the City of Redding; and if they do not have such license, they will obtain one prior to commencing work (or the City issuing any purchase orders) The cut-off date and time for receiving questions regarding this bid is 5:00 p.m. PDT, on Thursday, May 2, 2024.
