Reference Number 0000348710 The St. Clair County Building and Ground's Department is seeking proposals for the replacement of the existing HVAC system for the Emergency Operation Center located at 295 Airport Drive, Kimball, MI . The County reserves the right to postpone the bid opening for its own convenience. The County reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids . Initial Assessment and Design The bidder shall conduct a thorough assessment of the current HVAC system, including an evaluation of the existing ductwork, vents and equipment. The bidder shall design a replacement HVAC system tailored to the needs of the facility. The bidder shall provide detailed specifications for the proposed HVAC system, including brand name, model number and the technical characteristics of components. . Removal of Existing System The bidder shall safely decommission and remove the existing HVAC equipment, including all associated hardware and materials, in compliance with environmental and safety regulations. The bidder shall not be responsible for the removal of the ductwork that is located within the floor as it shall be abandoned in place and not reused. Installation of New HVAC System The bidder shall be solely responsible for the means, method, techniques and procedures of construction of the new HVAC system. Errors, inconsistencies or omissions discovered shall be the responsibility of the contractor and the contractor shall make any corrections necessary at no additional cost to the County The bidder shall install the new HVAC system in accordance to the manufacturer's specifications and industry best practices, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency. The bidder shall integrate the new system with the existing building controls. The bidder shall conduct all necessary electrical, plumbing, ductwork and structural modifications required for the install of the new HVAC system. Any interpretation to a bidder regarding the Bid and/or Contract Documents or any part thereof is valid only if given by the Purchasing Division staff. Note- The envelope shall contain one (1) electronic and three (3) complete hard copies of the Bid and required bid information. Bids shall be sealed when submitted. Separate bids shall be submitted on each bid number and bids shall be typewritten in ink and legibly prepared. Bids having erasures or corrections thereon may be rejected unless explained or initialed by the bidder. If you are submitting a "No bid", do not follow the above directions but send a letter to the Purchasing Division. Bids shall be mailed or delivered to St Clair County, Purchasing Division, 200 Grand River, Suite 203, Port Huron, MI 48060 before the stated deadline. Faxed and emailed bids will not be accepted.
