The project generally comprises the replacement of an existing culvert with a new concrete box culvert of various sizes, inlet, two end walls, two grouted riprap aprons, and restoration of areas disturbed by construction. Bids shall remain open for a period of 60 days from the date of Bid opening unless award is delayed by a required approval from a governmental agency, the sale of bonds, or the award of a grant or grants, in which event the Bids shall remain open for a period of 120 days from the date of Bid opening. Questions will be accepted until 3:00 P.M., prevailing time, on April 23, 2024; All questions must be submitted through PennBid. Each Bid must be accompanied by Bid security in the form of a certified check, bank check, irrevocable letter of credit, or Bid bond (on the form included with the Bidding Documents) for (10) percent of the Bid total. It is a requirement of this Contract that at least 50% of the Work be performed by prime Bidder's own workforce, not by subcontractor(s). It is a requirement of this Contract that Bidder shall have a minimum (5) year, (5) project documented experience in the type of Work required by this Project.
