Site work for a golf course in Sullivan, Missouri. Working plans call for site work for a golf course.
**As of June 18, 2024, bids received were rejected. No definite date for the rebid.** This Contract will consist of all necessary work to remove and replace the existing cart paths at the Sullivan Golf Course. Two bids are solicited, one for the entire replacement as one project the other being for a three-year contract to replace approximately one-third of the cart path yearly over the next three years. The base contracts will be bid as asphalt with a concrete option to be bid for each as outlined in the specifications. Bidders having questions or requesting additional information should contact Robert Schaffer, P.E., CFM, City Engineer, at the Sullivan Engineering Department, telephone number 573-468-8965. Effective January 1, 2009 and pursuant to Missouri Revised Statute Section 285.530 (1), "No business entity or employer shall knowingly employ, hire for employment, or continue to employ an unauthorized alien to perform work within the state of Missouri." Bidders on the work will be required to comply with the State prevailing wage rates which will be included in the Contract Documents. Not less than the prevailing hourly rate of wages specified shall be paid to all workers performing work under the Contract. Bids shall be accompanied by Bidder's certified check, cashiers check or Bid Bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Bid Price. The City of Sullivan reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids received and to waive or not to waive any or all irregularities.
