As of June 25, 2024 project was awarded to Barcon Inc., awarded amount is $1,665,421.17. A proposed residential development consisting of overall mass grading and new construction of sanitary sewer, water main, storm sewer and pavement. Est. Value: $ 1,800,000.00 Work on the improvement shall be commenced immediately upon approval of the contract by the City Council and be completed as stated below. Project Description Mr. Isaac Kreikemeier, Project Engineer of JEO Consulting Group, Inc., presented project information in an email on November 16, 2023. The email included an RFP and Concept Sheets C-1 and C-2 that were titled “Phase 1 Improvements” and “Phase 2 Improvements”, respectively. CTS understands that the project will consist of a two-phase residential development that will include new streets and cul-de-sacs northwest of the intersection of Ratliff Road and N 4 th Street in Red Oak, Iowa. CTS further understands the project will include utility installation, approximately 1,830 lineal feet of 7-inch concrete pavement and that less than 3 feet of cut/fill will be required to bring the pavement areas to grade. It is also understood that a single 7-day water level reading may be deemed necessary after initial groundwater conditions are observed.
