Site work and renovation of a mixed-use development in Township of Washington, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a library; for site work for a library; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities in bids and to reject anyandall bidsifitisin the best interest of the Owner to do so. All work incidental thereto, including but not limited to the Ramp and Entrance Alterations andas requiredinaccordancewith the Project Manual. Bidders electing to receive the specifications from a third party, or any other service or entity assumetheresponsibilityofensuring they receive any issued revisions or addenda. Bidders shall comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 40A:11-2.1 and N.J.S.A. 52:32-55 et seq. (P.L. 2022, c.3)respectingthe disclosure of prohibited Russia-Belarus & Iran Investment Activities. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of Public Law 1975, c. 127 which pertains to"Non-Discriminationand "Affirmative Actions", and Public Law 1977, c. 33, which requires a Statement of Corporate Ownership. The rules and regulations cited in 24 CFR 92.351(b), 24 CFR 85.36(e) (i-vi), and OMBCircular A-102onthistopicspecifythat proactive outreach efforts to include MBE-WBE-DBE must be undertaken as part of the opencompetitionprocessforcontract opportunities funded with CDBG and other federal dollars. The sub-grantee-and its contractors andsubcontractorsare, therefore, required to provide the maximum practicable opportunity for MBE-WBE-DBEs toparticipateintheprocurement process. Please reference the NJ Selective Assistance Vendor Information database for monthly/quarterlyupdatedlistswhichidentifies certified registered businesses as M/W/BE Small Business Administration. Small, Minority and Women's Business Enterprises are encouraged to obtain specifications and compete for the contracts 2312 Washington Township Library Ramp & Entrance Alterations NTB-2All contracts and subcontracts for construction or purchase of materials are subject to Section3of theHousingandCommunity Development Act of 1968 where to the greatest extent possible, opportunities for trainingandemploymentshall be given to lower income residents of the project area, and when possible, contracts shall beawardedtobusinessconcerns owned by area residents. assisted with Community Development Block Grant Funds The bidder understands and agrees that its bid is submitted on the basis of the specifications prepared by the owner. The bidder accepts the obligation to become familiar with these specifications. A pre-bid meeting is not required for this project. The project has a goal of ten to twenty percent (10-20%) MBE/DBE/WBE participation. Provide a brief summary of how this goal will be achieved. Failure to submit this form may result in a bid being rejected for non-responsiveness.
