2025 Roadway Project Question Deadline 08/22/2025 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Contract Documents shall be submitted to the ENGINEER in writing and faxed to the Township Hall (fax no. 201-664-8281). Replies will be issued by addenda mailed, faxed or delivered to all parties recorded by ENGINEER as having received the bidding documents. Questions received less than five (5) days prior to date for opening of Bids will not be answered. Only questions answered by formal written addenda will be binding. The bid must be accompanied by consent of surety, non-collusion affidavit, ownership statement, ownership financial statement and a bid security (certified check, cashiers check or bid bond) in the amount of ten percent (10% of the total bid amount payable to the Township of Washington. The amount of such bid security need not be more than $20,000. The party to whom the contract is awarded will be required to execute the contract and furnish a performance bond and a payment bond in the amount of 100% of the contract in a form approved by the Counsel of the Township of Washington with a surety company. Docs notes ; The work under this contract shall be performed in accordance with the contract drawings and specifications and with working and file drawings which may be examined and obtained at the office of the Clerks Office of the Township of Washington between the hours of 9:00 A.M. and 4:00 P.M., Monday through Thursday, Friday 9:00 A.M. - 12:00 P.M. excepting legal holidays. The Township Council reserves the right to consider the bids for sixty (60) days after receipt thereof, and further reserves the right to reject any and all bids: waive informalities and make sure awards, or take action as may be in the best interest of the Township. *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project.
