Additionally, the contractor is tasked with the demolition of the existing staircase on the airside, further emphasizing the comprehensive nature of their obligations. Preparatory earthwork required to appropriately condition the landing area for the new wheelchair ramp also constitutes a significant portion of the contractor's scope of work. Moreover, the contractor is obligated to furnish shop drawings to both the client and the design engineer for thorough review and subsequent approval, ensuring a collaborative and transparent approach to the project's execution, and as noted in drawings and specification.
