Work under this contract consists of but not necessarily limited to the procurement and installation of a barrier-free ramp on the airside of ATB Gjoa Haven airport. This includes all essential mobilization of equipment and manpower, which falls under the contractor's responsibility. Additionally, the contractor is tasked with the demolition of the existing staircase on the airside, further emphasizing the comprehensive nature of their obligations. Preparatory earthwork required to appropriately condition the landing area for the new wheelchair ramp also constitutes a significant portion of the contractor's scope of work. Moreover, the contractor is obligated to furnish shop drawings to both the client and the design engineer for thorough review and subsequent approval, ensuring a collaborative and transparent approach to the project's execution, and as noted in drawings and specification.
