Renovation of an educational facility in Bloomfield Township, Michigan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a primary / secondary education facility.
DESCRIPTION A. The Bloomfield Hills School District Roof Replacement Project includes two different schools. Schools included are: Way Elementary and Eastover Elementary. Jacob McDermott will act as the Owner’s Representative and may be contacted regarding any questions or for a pre-bid job site inspection. B. School sections consist of: Roof Sections Identified at the end of Spec. 1. Eastover Elementary School: D1, E, F, G 2. Way Elementary School: A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, J C. The project consists of installing Carlisle’s Sure-Seal (black) Adhered Roofing System as outlined below: 1. Apply the Fully Adhered EPDM Roofing System in conjunction with new Poly ISO and a vapor barrier only on the metal and concrete deck areas after tear off of the existing built up roofing material roof to expose the concrete/tectum/metal decking for verification of suitable substrate as specified in this specification. D. Asphalt roof sections will be stripped down to the wood decking and replaced with new Architectural Shingles. 1. Contractors are to also include an option for a Standing Seam Metal Roof.
