Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for outdoor lighting for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

This project consists of approximately 45 l.f. of sidewalk and stamped concrete replacement and light pole installment. The ramp does not need to be replaced. The location of this project is very busy and will need Police protection. It is estimated that 2 officers will be needed. Parking will need to be off the roadway. A saw cut out to Rt. 4 is needed. Testing requirements to be accepted by the DOT. State/DOT standards are to be met. There will be daily Town inspections. Some turf re-establishment is needed. The project located at 763 Farmington Avenue consists of providing all labor, equipment, and materials necessary for replacement of concrete sidewalk, stamped concrete, granite curbing, repair underground electrical conduit, install street lighting and precast light pole foundations; and other work as described in the Contract Documents. Any such bid withdrawal may be made without penalty or prejudice. After the bids are opened, all bids will be considered firm for a period of sixty (60) days and no bid may be withdrawn for any reason during that period except for such a cause as the Town of Farmington, at its sole discretion, deems sufficient.
