Site work and paving for a road / highway in Chetek, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The Town of Prairie Lake is seeking bids for the below projects within the Town: o 5.5 Miles of Sealcoating with in the Town of Prairie Lake o 3 Miles of Blade Patch located on route 22nd Street, at route 10th avenue (Cty Hwy OO), Offset to 9th avenue, on route 22 3/4 Street, toward route 8th avenue (Cty Hwy D). Must be 550 tons per mile of warm mix asphalt. Contractor must bid for providing all equipment to complete work. The Town Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive irregularities or informalities in any bid and to accept the proposal which best serves the town's interests. 1. The work shall consist of furnishing all materials, equipment, and labor to thoroughly clean the existing surface, perform patching of existing holes, spread emulsified asphalt and sealcoat cover aggregate, and rolling with compaction roller. Optional vacuuming or sweeping of any excess sealcoat cover aggregate will be included in bid proposal and acceptance of this additional work shall be determined by town board at time of bid opening. 2. Payment for sealcoating shall be by the gallons of emulsified asphalt and tons of sealcoat cover aggregate. This shall be full compensation for cleaning, patching, application, rolling, and furnishing all labor materials, equipment, and incidentals necessary to complete the work. 3. Rock size to be used on town roads is 5/16-3/8 inch, fractured. 4. Asphalt is to be emulsion and to be applied at .38 gallon per square yard.
