Renovation of a transportation facility in Danbury, Connecticut. Completed plans call for the renovation of a transportation facility.
AIP Project No., 3-09-0006-053-2024 Danbury Bid No. 01-24-25-08 The envelope containing the bid must be sealed, addressed and designated as: Bid for Upgrade Regulators in Vault The Project consists of one phase that includes the installation of conduits and wireways, four new constant current regulators, one new breaker for the existing power distribution panelboard for the new power feed to the new mini-split HVAC unit, disconnection and removal of indicated existing regulators, new output power wiring from the new regulators in the vault to repositioned series switches and wiring modifications from these switches to existing power conductors to the field lighting circuits, new power feed from existing panelboard to the new/replacement regulators, provision of new control wiring from new regulators to existing vault RTU/PLC panel, all wiring and conduits to electrically connect the new mini-split HVAC unit, and all wiring and new replacement contactors for the existing REIL controls, relocated as indicated on the Contract Drawings, and the furnishing of any and all other incidentals necessary to produce a completed and fully functioning installation. Prospective bidders are asked to provide information on whether their company is listed as a Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE) in the state where the work will be performed in order to comply with FAA regulations. Prospective bidders will be asked to provide this information at time of plan purchase. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality in the bidding or to reject any or all bids. Each bidder must deposit with his bid, security in the amount of 5% of his bid in the form and subject to the conditions provided in the General Provisions. Attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under the Contract. The Contractor on this work will be required to comply with the equal employment opportunity requirements of the Federal Aviation Administration and the Danbury Municipal Airport DBE Program. . The date for asking questions is Friday February 21 st 2025, and for answering questions is Tuesday February 25 th , 2025.
