Reference Number 0000348092 Rehabilitation of four steel multi girder bridges currently carrying the Heritage Trail (formerly carried Railroad). The existing wooden decks will be removed and replaced with a wider concrete deck utilizing the existing steel girders. Spalled and deteriorated areas of the abutments will be repaired. Deteriorated bearings and backwalls will be replaced. Asphalt trail reconstruction on approaches to the bridges. New pedestrian bridge railing and fencing will be installed. Question Acceptance Deadline 04/25/2024 03:00 AM EDT Questions are submitted online No General Requirements - Bid Deposit Required - Prevailing Wage Required Bonding Requirements - Bid Bond 10 % -- Awarded Contractor shall be required to provide Performance and Payment Bonds, each equal to 100% of the Contract amount and insurance coverages as specified in the Contract Documents, with the County, and Architect/Engineer, Hudson Valley Engineering Associates, P.C., named as additional insureds, and upon application for final payment, a one-year Maintenance Bond against any defects in workmanship or materials in an amount equal to 10% of the Contract Sum at Substantial Completion
