The Contractor must provide all adequate and competent labor, equipment, tools, testing, and materials necessary to improve roadways by reconstructing and/or milling and overlaying road surfaces. 2024 District 1,4,5,10 Road Improvements A Bid Guarantee of five percent (5%) of the amount of the total Bid, including Alternates, must accompany the Proposal and, at the option of the Bidder, may be a cashier's check, certified check or a satisfactory Bid Bond. The Bid Guarantee must be attached to the Louisiana Uniform Public Work Bid Form. No Bid will be considered unless it is so guaranteed. Cashier's check or certified check must be made payable to the order of the Owner Performance and Payment Bond in an amount of at least equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price Any questions regarding insurance requirements please contact the Risk Department at 985-898-5226 or email riskman@stpgov.org (if the work is estimated at $50k or more The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids for just cause in accordance with the Public Bid Law, LSA-R.S. 38:2214(B).
