The Project consists of: Contractor shall perform the Work at the following three (3) locations: Pioneer Valley High School, 675 Panther Drive, Santa Maria, CA Santa Maria High School, 901 S. Broadway, Santa Maria, CA Support Services Center, 2560 Skyway Drive, Santa Maria, CA At all locations, the District intends to have a licensed flooring contractor remove existing floor covering, perform minor floor preparation, and install owner-supplied floor covering (type dependent on location). Owner furnished - Contractor Installed products include: carpet, walk off carpet, LVT, HVT, sheet vinyl, floor feather finish and adhesives, 4" rubber wall base. Contractor will need to provide transition strips, trim finishes (e.g., stair nosings, treads, risers, visual safety strips, etc.) trim finish adhesives for all work areas, and any other items necessary to complete the job. Carpet will be direct-glued. No grinding or leveling appears to be necessary at this time. Furniture will be moved by the District. See Supplemental Labor Conditions and Floor Plans for full scope understanding. To bid on this Project, the Bidder is required to possess one or more of the following State of California contractors' license(s): C-15 The Bidder's license(s) must remain active and in good standing throughout the term of the Contract. To bid on this Project, the Bidder is required to be registered as a public works contractor with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to the Labor Code. Failure to attend or tardiness will render bid ineligible. Bidders must attend all three site visits The Contractor and all Subcontractors under the Contractor shall pay all workers on all Work performed pursuant to this Contract not less than the general prevailing rate of per diem wages and the general prevailing rate for holiday and overtime work as determined by the Director of the Department of Industrial Relations, State of California, for the type of work performed and the locality in which the work is to be performed within the boundaries of the District, pursuant to section 1770 et seq. of the California Labor Code.
