Switchgear Upgrades at Lucas County Shared Services Building A signed Bond with seal for the full amount of the Bid, meeting the requirements of section 153.54 to 153.57, Ohio Revised code, OR a certified check payable to the Lucas County Treasurer for ten percent (10%) of the full amount of the bid, must be included with each bid or the bid will be disqualified. Bonds will be returned to unsuccessful bidders within thirty (30) days of contract award. Ohio's prevailing wage laws apply to all public improvements financed in whole or in part by public funds when the total overall project cost is fairly estimated to be more than $250,000 for new construction or $75,000.00 for reconstruction, enlargement, alteration, repair, remodeling, renovation, or painting. Lucas County reserves the right to postpone the bid opening for its convenience. Bidders are required to submit firm and fixed prices in the format specified on the Pricing Response Form (Section F). When there are errors in multiplication or addition in a bid, the unit price quoted will be used for calculating the correct total bid. If the error is in the unit price, the bid will be automatically disqualified. All bid pricing will be valid for 60 (sixty) calendar days from the bid opening date to permit adequate evaluation of bid responses.
