project cancelled CIP: 100664.002 Construction of a permanent memorial in remembrance of all those impacted by the events of May 31, 2019. The development consists of the 531 Memorial Fountain, Survivors Grove, The Glades, a Hero tree location, several pathways to traverse the site, utilities, and landscaping. The project will maintain and preserve the historic woodland and legacy trees and restore the forest floor as part of the memorial experience. The project will also provide enhancements to the existing parking area that fronts the memorial grounds and develop walking and overlook pathways around the existing stormwater pond, tying into existing pedestrian pathways.
