The project includes but is not limited to stripe various County roads in paint. The Board of Supervisors reserves the right to reject any or all bids. By order of the Board of Supervisors of the County of Napa, State of California made this April 9, 2024. Bids are required for the entire work called for by the Plans and Specifications, and neither partial nor contingent bids will be considered. Per Public Contract Code section 20129, bids must be valid for 90 days from the date of bid opening. No bid will be considered unless it is made on a blank form furnished with these bid specifications and is made in accordance with the provisions of the proposal requirements and conditions set forth under Section 2 of the 2023 Standard Specifications of the State California, Department of Transportation, except as modified by the Special Provisions. The Contractor shall possess a Class "A" or "C-32" license at the time of contract award. A bid guarantee in the amount of 10% of the total bid shall accompany the bid. The successful bidder shall be required to furnish a Performance Bond in an amount equal to 100% of the contract price and a Labor and Material Bond in an amount equal to 100% of the contract price with good and sufficient surety. There will be no County-led pre-bid site visit. However, contractors shall view site conditions on their own prior to submitting a bid. Contractor shall submit site visit affidavit verifying they reviewed site conditions with bid proposal. See Proposal sheet P-10. A mandatory bidder's list will be required to participate in bidding for this project.
