Asphalt pavement cold milling; asphalt concrete pavement overlay; ARHM overlay; addition of reinforcing fibers to asphalt or ARHM; installation of paving mat; concrete base course; slurry seal application; removal and replacement of various concrete improvements such as curb ramps, sidewalk and curb and gutters; installation of PCC bikeway separator; planting trees; removal of trees; survey monument preservation; adjustment of survey monuments, water valves, sewer cleanouts and manhole frames and covers to grade; installation of traffic signal detection loops; installation of striping and pavement markings; providing public notifications, traffic control, and all appurtenant items thereto; and other items not mentioned here, but are required by the Special Provisions. LOCATION OF THE WORK: The work to be performed hereunder is located in the City of Irvine, County of Orange, at various locations. LICENSE REQUIREMENT: Prime Contractor must possess a valid Class A or C-12 license. At the time of submitting the bid, the Bidder shall be licensed as a contractor in accordance with the provisions of California Business and Professions Code Chapter 9, Division 3. Each bid shall be accompanied by a scanned copy of a certified or cashier's check or corporate surety bond issued by a surety company, admitted to do business in the State of California, on the form furnished by the City as guarantee that bidder will, if an award is made to him in accordance with the terms of his bid, promptly secure Workers' Compensation insurance and liability insurance, execute a contract in the required form, and furnish satisfactory bonds for the faithful performance of the contract ("Performance Bond") and for the payment of claims of materialmen and laborers thereunder ("Payment Bond").
