I. PROJECT OVERVIEW The Mayor and Council of Boonsboro, Maryland is requesting bids from qualified contractors to provide milling and asphalt overlay services for multiple streets and alleys in Town. II. SCOPE OF WORK The project will consist of milling town streets to a depth of 2-inches, where necessary, and installing a 2-inch asphalt overlay. Any deep patch work will be 3 inches base and 3 inches top. Contractor is responsible for hauling millings to their own site and shall keep project area clean of debris. 1. Thompson Court - Mill/overlay 126 cubic yards of blacktop,523 feet long by 33 feet wide including cul-de-sac. 2. Center Street - Mill/overlay 296 cubic yards of blacktop, 27 feet wide by 1781 feet long. 3. Lakin Avenue - Mill/overlay 320 cubic yards of blacktop, 40 feet wide by 1300 feet long. 4. Kerns Drive - Mill/overlay 81 cubic yards of blacktop, 35 feet wide by 379 feet long. 5. Cemetery Lane - Mill/overlay 41 cubic yards of blacktop, 19 feet wide by 350 feet long. 6. Thomas Lane - Mill/overlay 40 cubic yards of blacktop, 16 feet wide by 413 feet long. 7. Reeders Alley - Mill/overlay 133 cubic yards of blacktop, 12 feet wide by 1800 feet long. 8. Kerns Drive - Deep patch 4 cubic yards of blacktop, 6 feet wide by 39 feet long. 9. Della Lane - Deep patch 27 cubic yards of blacktop, 10 feet wide by 150 feet long. 10. Red Fern Lane - Deep patch 29 cubic yards of blacktop, 16 feet wide by 100 feet long. Contractors submitting bids must be able to complete the Project by December 31, 2024. List of References Any proposals received after the above time will not be accepted under any circumstances. Any uncertainty regarding the time a bid is received will be resolved against the bidder. Bids shall remain valid for 90 days.
