City of Bellingham Request for Qualifications Bear Creek Open Space Phase 1 #26B-2024 The City of Bellingham (City) is seeking Request for Qualifications (RFQ) to provide services, including engineering, survey, planning, archaeological, environmental, geotechnical, permitting, design to full construction documents including plans, specifications, and estimates, as well as bid support and construction administration services for Bear Creek Open Space Phase 1 improvements which include: parking and trailhead; improving existing trails with limestone surfacing; developing new gravel trail; surveying and installing park boundary monuments; and installing wayfinding, interpretive, and critical areas signage. Phase 1 may include feasibility and preliminary design for additional trail connections to connect Bear Creek Open Space to Julianna and Cordata Parks, as identified in the PRO Plan and Greenways Strategic Plan. The City reserves the right to postpone making the award for a reasonable length of time, to reject all proposals or parts of proposals as may be in the best interest of the City.
