Site work for a water / sewer project in Bellingham, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
**As of June 12, 2024 project was awarded to FMIP Improvements-Phase 1 , awarded amount is $2,454,408.59** The scope of work for this project consists of furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for the project identified above including the following major work items: 1.Concrete 2.Electrical 3.Earthwork 4.Exterior Improvements 5.Utilities LIQUIDATED DAMAGES In the event that a contractor and/or vendor does not complete the proposed work in the contractually-specified time limit, the Port shall be entitled to liquidated damages pursuant to the Standard Specifications and the Contractor and/or surety under the performance bond shall be liable for payment of such damages. The project site is located in a fenced area on an active industrial complex, and no other access to this area will be granted outside of this time prior to contract execution. Bond Notes: Each bid must be accompanied by a cashier's check, money order, or an original signed and stamped surety bid bond in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid, made payable to the Port of Bellingham. Any and all questions related to this project must be submitted via email prior to 5:00 PM, local time, on Tuesday, May 14, 2024. No questions will be accepted after that time. Owner Rights: The Port of Bellingham reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities or informalities. Engineers estimate: $2,560,000.00.
