This project consists of watermain replacement, street improvements, and related sidewalk improvements along N. Iowa Avenue from W. Vermont Street north to W. Plymouth Street and new watermain along W. Vermont Street from N. Iowa Avenue east to N. Wisconsin Avenue, all in Villa Park, IL. Watermain improvements will include all work necessary for replacement of existing watermain along N. Iowa Avenue from W. Vermont Street north to W. Plymouth Street, and installation of new watermain along W. Vermont Street from N. Iowa Avenue east to N. Wisconsin Avenue. Watermain improvements will also include replacement of three fire hydrants and installation of two new fire hydrants. Street improvements will include all work necessary for the removal and replacement of existing roadway pavement, curb and gutter, driveway aprons, sidewalks and/or sidewalk corners for ADA compliance, along with necessary parkway restoration, to be let as a single Contract. Women and Minority Owned Businesses and Section 3 Businesses and Laborers are encouraged to submit bids on this project. Federal Labor Standards and Prevailing Wage Rates will apply to this project.
