City of Clyde Raw Water Line Opinion of Probable Construction Cost: Base Bid: $5,365,136.67 Alternate Bid: $1,695,200.00 This Project is Funded Through the Ohio Water Development Authority (Owda) and the Ohio Builds Water Infrastructure Grant Completion Date: 300 Days the Project Will Consist of Construction of a Force Main From a Pumping Station to the Existing Beaver Creek Reservoir. A Raw Water Intake and Pumping Station Are Being Bid as an Alternate. The Bid Security Shall Be in the Form of a Certified Check, a Cashier's Check, or an Irrevocable Letter of Credit for an Amount Equal to Ten Percent (10%) of the Bid; or a Bond for 10% of the Amount of the Bid. Said Bid Security Shall Be Made Payable to the Owner and is to Be Held as a Guarantee That in the Event the Bid is Accepted, and a Contract is Awarded to the Bidder, the Contract Will Be Duly Executed, and Its Performance Properly Secured. The Successful Bidder Will Be Required to Furnish a Contract Performance Bond in an Amount Not Less Than One Hundred Percent (100%) of the Total Price Bid for the Complete Work, Said Bond Shall Be That of an Approved Surety Company Authorized to Transact Business in the State of Ohio and Shall Be Underwritten by a Surety That is Listed on the Most Current Department of the Treasury Circular 570, "Surety Companies Acceptable on Federal Bonds".
