The Baker County Board of County Commissioners is seeking sealed bids from qualified General or Roofing contractors to provide labor, materials, supplies, services, etc to provide roof replacement for the Macclenny Post Office, located at 39 W Lowder St, Macclenny, FL 32063. The building is approximately 12,000 s.f. and heated 8,352 s.f. This project requires Performance and Payments Bonds to be provided. The County is seeking SHINGLE ROOF REPLACEMENT- The CONTRACTOR shall tear off existing shingles roofing down to substrate, replace any and all rotten wood, re-nail existing decking to meet current code, remove and replace all existing metal off-ridge vents, install tiger paw (or equal) synthetic underlayment over the entire roof area, furnish and install Timberline HD shingles (or equal) and accessories per manufacturers requirements, furnish and install all associated roof flashings in order to achieve a watertight roof, including but not limited to, new drip edge at perimeter or roof, new plumbing stack covers, new base flashing, etc. The County reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to reject any or all Bids, to cancel or withdraw this solicitation at any time and waive any irregularities in the Solicitation process.
