City of Safford, AZ is soliciting Statements of Qualifications and Experience from consulting firms to provide professional airport engineering, planning, design, marketing, and construction management services for Safford Regional Airport 1LT Duane Spalsbury Field. DBE firms are encouraged to apply. All proposals received will be evaluated based on FAA Advisory Circular 150/5100-14D and on compliance with the request. Fees for individual projects will be negotiated as funding is obtained. Projects funded through FAA grants will be subject to the provisions of Executive Order 11246 (Affirmative Action to Ensure Equal Employment Opportunity) and to the provisions of the Department of Transportation Regulations 49 CFR Part 26 (Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Participation) and to foreign trade restrictions. The Consultant must supply all information required by the Request for Statements of Qualifications and Experience. The City reserves the right to waive any informality and minor irregularities in the submittals and select the Consultant deemed, in the opinion of the City, to be in the best interest of the City and the airport.
