Renovation of a mixed-use development in Boise, Idaho. Completed plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.
The project involves replacing the fan coil units and fin tube radiators throughout Buildings 23 and 45 at the Boise VA Medical Center. Heat exchangers, pumps, and valves will be installed to create a closed heating loop within the buildings. This loop will be heated using the existing raw geothermal water, which will no longer circulate directly through the building systems, thereby reducing wear on piping and equipment. New piping will be installed where necessary, and old piping will be removed. All required connections, valves, structural modifications, and accessories are included. The system must be fully integrated with and monitored by the existing station Direct Digital Control (DDC) system. The completed construction and installation must result in a fully functioning heating system. Location: Boise VA Medical Center, 500 W Fort St, Boise, ID 83702. The magnitude of construction is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Request for Infomation (RFIs) are to be submitted by email to alan.perez@va.gov and the CO no later than 12:00 PM (MST), November 21, 2025. No other RFIs will be considered unless determined by the Contracting Officer.
