Renovation of a municipal facility in Waite Park, Minnesota. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The County of Stearns is seeking quotes for the disconnection from existing ductwork, removal, and disposal of the existing (2) air handlers, installation of 2 new air handlers and connections to existing ductwork. The air handlers are on a mezzanine level of the facility accessible via stairs or a 6' wide forklift or crane-accessible service door. The County will provide the new air handling units, associated controls, valves, dampers ext. There is an ADD alternate bid request to provide labor rates and materials to install gas service and ductwork for (2) new boilers, 1 water heater, and (5) gas unit heaters. Work is tentatively scheduled for May of 2024, depending on equipment availability. The Vendor will be responsible for all materials, necessary labor, and equipment to perform this service.
