Renovation of a water / sewer project in Pleasanton, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.

Dublin San Ramon Services District (hereinafter referred to as the "District" or "DSRSD") is seeking Proposals from qualified contractors for the WWTP Fire Alarm System Upgrades Project (CIP 16-P024) (Project). The Project includes assessment, design, specifications, removal of existing obsolete Fire Alarm Control Panels (FACP), installation of new Fire Alarm Control Panels and Subpanels, and programming and testing of new FACP's with the existing EST3 System. Design shall be in accordance with Districts Electrical System Design Standards as provided in attachment B. Assessment, design, upgrades and installation, testing and commissioning shall be substantially complete within ninety (90) working days from the Notice to Proceed. (NTP). The Contractor shall provide as-built drawings upon completion of installation. The Contractor shall ensure the availability of internal and external resources, as necessary, and facilitate work to meet all DSRSD imposed deadlines. Question Deadline 04/26/2024 All inquiries, questions or objections relating to the RFP, the RFP procedures, or the required Services may only be submitted via email to kcastro@dsrsd.com at least five (5) calendar days prior to the Proposal Deadline. Anticipated Notice to Proceed June 2024 The District reserves the right to postpone the date and time for receiving and/or opening Proposals. Pre bid meeting description: Alternative pre-proposal will only be allowed up to one (1) week before the Proposal Deadline date (April 25, 2024) and shall be coordinated with the Project Manager at the contact information noted under Section: Submittal Information. The scope of work, as prepared, is a draft and scope items listed are typical. It is DSRSD’s expectation that the Contractor will use their expertise to customize each task (including a further breakdown into subtasks) to improve DSRSD’s ability to evaluate the proposal and complete the project in a cost-effective manner. Based on their experience, the Contractor may identify additional elements needed to meet the project goals. The scope of each task shall be completely defined by the Contractor. At a minimum, the Contractor shall define: (1) purpose or overview of the task/subtasks; (2) suggested approach to deliver task/subtask; (3) assumptions; and (4) deliverables that DSRSD can expect to receive as a result of performing thistask, including any time allotted by DSRSD and/or permitting agencies for the review of such deliverables. The Contractor shall provide all specialties required for the complete assessment, design, installation, testing and commissioning of the WWTP Fire Alarm System Upgrades Project (CIP 16-P024), including all necessary, management, labor, materials, tools, equipment, supplies, and ancillary services. Design shall be in accordance with the District’s Electrical System Design Standards as provided in Attachment B. All inquiries, questions or objections relating to the RFP, the RFP procedures, or the required Services may only be submitted via email to kcastro@dsrsd.com at least five (5) calendar days prior to the Proposal Deadline. Any questions or objections that are not submitted within the time and manner specified will be rejected. The District reserves the right to issue addenda responding to such questions or objections, which will become part of the RFP. Addenda will be sent as promptly as is practical to all Contractors to whom the RFP has been issued. Each Contractor is solely responsible for reviewing any and all addenda before submitting its Proposal. The District reserves the right to postpone the date and time for receiving and/or opening Proposals. Submissions via fax will not be accepted. Any questions during the proposal preparation should be directed via email to kcastro@dsrsd.com. Include a detailed description of each protective device identifying its type, function, manufacturer, and time-current characteristics. These details can be included on the TCC.
