Rochester Public School District #535 will receive bids from qualified contractors on a single Prime Contract for the ISD #535 Generator Replacements at Willow Creek Middle School, 2425 11th Ave SE, Rochester, MN 55904, and Century High School, 2525 Viola Rd NE, Rochester, MN 55906. The project involves the replacement of existing generators at Willow Creek Middle School and Century High School. Work will include minor interior demolition and new construction to accommodate new equipment. Work will also include exterior sitework to accommodate new equipment along with minor roof and exterior wall patching. Bid Security: The bid shall be accompanied by bid security in the form of a surety bid bond, cashier's check or certified check, drawn on a state or national bank domiciled within the State of Minnesota in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the maximum base bid submitted, payable without condition to the Owner as a guarantee that the bidder will enter into a contract with the Owner for the work described. Bids will be reviewed and Work shall commence upon receipt of a Notice to Proceed. Estimated date of Notice to Proceed is May 22, 2024 to allow for material procurement.
