False River Ecosystem Restoration - Phase IV Retaining Wall Replacement Discharge Bayou and Lighthouse Canal project described as follows: Removal and replacement of bulkhead along Discharge Bayou and Lighthouse Canal and appurtenances. To view bids, download, and receive bid notices by email, your company/agency will need to register at Online. Contractors submitting bids shall be licensed under LA License R.S. 37:2150-2164, Heavy Construction. The bidder shall show his license number on the bid and on the sealed envelope submitting the bid. Each Bidder must deposit with his/her bid, security in the amount of at least five percent (5%) of the total bid price, provided on the specified form and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders. Sureties used for obtaining bonds must appear as acceptable on the U. S. Department of Treasury Circular 570. The Contracting Agency reserves the right to reject any and all bids for just cause; such actions will be in accordance with Title 38 of the Louisiana Revised Statutes. The Contracting Agency shall award or reject all bids within forty-five (45) calendar days after bid opening in accordance with LA R.S. 38:2215. All questions shall be in writing and faxed or emailed to the Project Engineer after the Pre-Bid conference and by the due date announced at the Pre-Bid conference. No additional questions shall be received after the specified pre-bid conference submittal deadline. Oral statements will not be binding or legally effective. The Engineer will submit addenda in response to all questions arising at the Pre-Bid Conference and site visit to all prospective Bidders on record. All prospective Bidders on record may contact the Engineer for any additional information.
